Green, Blue and Gray

Green, Blue and Gray

Currents of air
far from sea—
bring particulates
too near to me.

Currents of water
beneath my gaze
leave muddy trails
far from waves.

Home I seek
currently.
California calls—
my soul answering.

Shall I ride rails?
Shall I book wings?
Shall I walk for miles?
Or shall I sing—departing
the land of gray on grey?
